Verhaaren Opportunities Funds
Verhaaren Opportunities Funds were formed to take advantage of the historical collapse of the real estate and credit “bubbles” that occurred in 2007 through 2009. Verhaaren Opportunities Funds seek to acquire distressed debt secured by real estate, distressed lenders and distressed real estate assets located primarily in the Western United States. Verhaaren Opportunities Funds have produced collective returns in excess of 20% per annum on realized and unrealized investments.

Meridian's typical client has secured a purchase order but requires capital to bridge the cost of goods, supplies, materials, and other elements they may need in order to fulfill that purchase order. Meridian’s proven method of purchase order financing allows its clients to grow their business and sales outside of current cash flow or credit constraints.
